I can’t believe that someone with symptoms like this would be asking people on Yahoo if there could be something wrong. I also find it unbelievable that you would go for 3 weeks like this without getting it checked out. You need to go to your doctor ASAP and if you don’t have a Doctor then go to the EMERGENCY ROOM. None of these things are normal, they are symptoms of an underlying problem and from the sound of it, not a very good one.
May need a cause of antibiotics to get rid of the thrush.May be could be more wrong with you besides the thrush.Go see your Doctor for a proper diagnosis..Get well quick.
First, thrush is caused by yeast…think yeast infection of the vagina, in the mouth instead. You need myconazole, or another anti-fungal to clear it (I have had radiation and get thrush infections due to low saliva…very painful) Second, it sounds like you have a bacteremic infection – i.e., bacterial infection of the blood. or this could be an underlying immune compromising disorder, such as RA (due to the joint pain) however, it is unlikely that this would be acute (just happening in the last three weeks) However, most of these would require a visit to the doctor, the least of which is the thrush infection, which you can’t treat it without prescription medication. The best advice is to go to the doctor, get a normal round of blood tests – Complete red/white count, lymphocyte count, blood gases, bacterial differential. This will determine if A., you white counts (i.e., the bacterial fighters) are within a normal range, and B whether or not it is a bacteremic infection…A good rule of thumb for infections is that if you can’t afford medical treatment, wait a week, if it goes away great, if it doesn’t go in. (unless it is super severe, in which case go right away). You shouldn’t have waited 3 weeks for this! Next time, don’t go to Yahoo answers, go to a clinic!
