What does deep joint pain indicate?
I began having deep joint pain in my left hip causing my entire leg to ache, on Wedensday the 17th. The following day the pain did not occur untill the evening. Friday the pain was in both hips. The pain has continued in my left hip, however, both legs ache. I am 34 and have not changed my physical activity. I bruise easily and have been bruising frequently. Could this pain be an indicator of something serious and if so, what could it be.

It maybe several things. Since it is in the area of your hips and radiates down your leg it maybe sciatica, bladder infection, of ovarian pain, such as a cyst. It maybe inflammation of the joints from tendinitis or arthritis. Since there is bruising present, you maybe anemic as well. See your doctor for some blood work.

I would almost bet you that it has something to do with your Sciatic Nerve. Most times when the sciatic nerve is compromised it displays the pain in the hip area. It does not have to be a constant pain, but it can be anywhere between an ache to an excruciating jolting pain. The sciatic nerve runs from the lower back across both ways to the hips, down your thigh, along the outside of your knees, across your shin and into the big toe.
Alot of times when the sciatic nerve is injured it is from a disc in your back. You don’t necessarily have to suffer a significant injury to your back to have disc trouble, it can come with age or you could be like many and have Degeneration. The only way to determine this kind of a problem is with a MRI, X Rays do not indicate soft tissue damage. However you may want to start with a XRay to eliminate Osteoarthritis in your Hips.
