What can I do about my joint pain?
I’m 23 and I dont have health insurance now. I have random joint pain all over my body. It keeps me awake at night and I do not know what the cause is. I have this since I was a little kid. I went to the doctor they tested for RA, but they came up with nth. I’ve been tested for Lyme diseases too. Came up with nth. I really want to know how can I get rid of this illness its bothering me so much. Anything is appreciated.

See your health care provider as soon as possible for a second opinion. Here are two lesser-known medical terms: "arthralgia" means pain (without swelling or redness) in the joints, and "myalgia" means pain in the muscles. These pains aren’t arthritis but can be very bothersome. Usually they aren’t serious and will go away. They can be caused by tension, virus infections, unusual exertion, accidents, or they can have no obvious cause. Seldom do they indicate a serious disease.
Fibromyalgia, also known as fibrositis or fibromyositis, refers to a disorder of unknown cause that is characterized by recurrent pain in the joints, muscles, or tendons. Often small, specific areas called "trigger points" are tender to the touch. Physical strain and cold or damp weather can make the disorder worse. Frequently, the pain is associated with other symptoms, such as insomnia, fatigue, or anxiety. Laboratory tests are usually normal. There are several treatment: physical therapy, warm or cold compresses, anti-inflammatory medication, and sometimes an anesthetic or cortisone injected directly into the trigger points. The symptoms can wax and wane over many years. And good luck.
fibromyalgia, degenerative joint disease and infection are just a few conditions that come to mind…does anything help or make it worse? Google the first two and see if they "hit home" sorry i couldnt help more:-( GOD BLESS~~~
