A podiatrist told me, after X-Rays were taken, that I had no cartilage left in the joints of my big toes, but offered no solution. There is a surgery that could be performed, with no promises, and it would not be covered by health insurance (of course!).
No history of injury to any of these joints. The pain is in both ankles and knees. X-rays reveal nothing wrong structurally.
Have pretty good running shoes as well as a brand new pair of Puma spikes for the 100, 200 and 400. I’m sort of doubting the shoes thing, BUT flip-flops are worn that majority of the time.
Can I take 100mg of ibuprofen everyday for a few months or so to help my knee pain. X-rays showed early signs of arthritis int he knees.
I have really bad arthritis in both of my shoulders every time the weather gets cold. It hurts really really bad and im only 25. What can I do so I don’t have to live the rest of my life like this. My x-rays show nothing.
I have had a problem with my wrist now off and on for about 3 years. I’ve been to the drs, have had x-rays and nerve tests. All lead to nothing they say. No fratures, no arthritis, no carpel tunnel, no tedonitis, nothing. I’ve taken everything for the pain. Nothing has ever worked, not heat, not ice, nothing. I do alot of crocheting so the hand is acting up again, I took Tylenol Arthritis and no pain!!!! So is it possible that I could have Arthritis and not be properly diagnosed? Can it sometimes not be detected?
From running so much I have the worst shin splints, and pretty bad pain in my left knee, and so-so pain in my right knee. Some days my legs just throb all day, but some days they only hurt when I use them. The other day, they were killing. My mom said maybe we should go to the doctor to get it checked out.
What would the doctors do? X-rays? Refer me to physical therapy?
Whats up with my knee??? It hurts in the inner lower front section of my left knee. It feels like a toothache kind of pain and gets worst when I go down stairs or walk around too much. I’ve had x-rays and there is nothing wrong with the knee itself but its been months now and the pain will not go away.
I’ve been suffering with SI joint pain for sometime now, with numbness and pain in my leg (for 6 weeks). I had X-rays and an MRI which didn’t reveal anything more than slight swelling in my SI joints. My orthopedic doctor gave me some medicine to reduce the swelling and prescribed physical therapy.
Therapy isn’t helping much, nor did the medicine. I have another appointment with my ortho. doctor who I suspect will be recommending injections to reduce swelling/pain.
So with all that being said, I’m about ready to give up on traditional medicine…and try something else or just suck it up and hope it gets better.
Anyone had similar experiences or any suggestions?
