I suspect I may have arthritis in my right thumb — all of a sudden it’s steadily painful, but I am only guessing (I have not yet consulted my doctor). I wonder if using one of those hand exercisers would be a helpful thing to do, or would it just make matters worse? I’m talking about those items you grip and then squeeze together.

I have a swelling around the joint of my left hand small finger and also pain at the base of the thumb. This has substantially reduced my power of turning, pulling etc using the left hand.I have general painful feeling in both the hands especially in the morning. I am 47 year old male. Any explanations for this condition and possible remedies ?

i have what i believe to be joint pain in my thumb,it feels like my joints hurt….i went to the doctor and he did inflammatory marker tests which came back negative….do you think i could be feeling another pain that i am thinking is joint pain,maybe nerve pain or something?……..
