I’m 7 weeks pregnant with my second child and my entire body just aches! Especially my joints, my hips, knees, shoulders, and elbows are throbbing. I remember from my reading during my last pregnancy that a hormone released during pregnancy can cause sensitivity in your joints, but I didn’t experience it until the end of the pregnancy. Does this sound normal? I’m also very tired, but have been contributing that to my 6 year old step-daughter’s early mornings since school has started, my 4 month old daughter’s new schedule, and me going back to school and work.
The main question is this: Is it normal to have aching joints this early in pregnancy?
I am 6 weeks pregnant and having quite a bit of joint pain. It’s in my knees, ankles and fingers. Is this normal this early in pregnancy? I did not have any of these symptoms with my first. It’s a nagging achy kind of pain that started with just my knees and has moved to other joints. UGH…..
Thanks Kaylaxki! So it would cause pain in my knees, ankles and fingers too?
I am 11 weeks. Out of nowhere today I had an onset of pain in my right front pelvic joint section into the hip/thigh. It stll hurts; steady pain when I walk, move or turn over in bed. Is this normal, this early into pregnancy?
I’ve been a little worried, going to take a preg test after work.
What do you think that these symptoms could be if not pregnancy?
I threw my SI joint out which I guess is a very common complaint during pregnancy.
A chiropractor popped it back in today which has made the severe pain in my pelvis much better, but it is still quite sore and inflammed. He gave me a few stretches to do and said to apply ice.
Does anyone else have any suggestions for me?
