what medications will make a dog eat more then usual? toy poodle has been eating a lot since he was on medication for joint pain

My sister is expecting her first baby (yay!!!) but suffers from very severe rheumatoid arthritis which is now terrible as she can’t take any medication while pregnant. She needs a car that is easy to get into and out of (so higher off the ground than usual) and will be easy in the long run for her to put bub in and out of. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated :)

And how can I help him? Is there some medication I can give him?

What is your opinion in the adoption of Minocin as a drug to stop the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis? And for how long can a patient tolerate this medication..

My girlfriend has been suffering with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis for most of her life and it just tears me apart to see her in so much pain. She takes medication for it but still never feels great. I feel so useless not being able to help her with the pain, I’ve asked her if I can help but she always says "its fine". Are there any ways I can really help her??

Thanks in advance.
By the way, we’re both fifteen, if it helps at all.

I posted the other day about my 14 year old dog (part lab/shep) who was having trouble walking and had a soar on her leg. Took her to the vet today and she has arthritis pretty bad. He gave med’s for there for her to take daily, and an antibotic for the pressure soar on her leg. Does any one know of any home remedies I can use for her in addition to the above medication? I am so happy I did not have to put her down. I was so upset. The old girl still has life in her. Thank God.

My lymph nodes are swollen in my armpits and in my neck. My throat is killing me, I have a bad headach, and I’m kind of dizzy. In addition to all of that, nearly all of my joints are killing me. What does all that mean? The doctor prescribed an acne medication for me. It’s not working. Does anyone know what I have and what I can do about it?
the doctor prescribed the acne medication for my symtpoms, and I’m positive it’s not an STD
And I don’t have a fever

Hi Guys
Hi Guys
I am new in USA. my wife has Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and is taking medication prescribed when we were in our home country.
1. my first question is How much is the cost of RA treatment in USA? i mean an estimated monthly cost..

2. and what specific coverages i will have to look for in her case if i go for buying an insurance (considering that RA is a chronic disease and requires taking medicines continuously for several years)
kindly help us out !

I have a moderate case of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and have been on pretty strong medications for it since I was 2 years old. I currently have a 3 1/2 month old and am breast feeding so I can not take any medication. I am in a lot of pain but do not want to sacrifice the breast feeding so I am looking for another option. Example: a special diet or anything???

Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with a lot of pain in my knee ca(lower knee cap). I take various over the counter pain medication, but I am curious as to what causes this and remedies. I cant go to the Dr. right now, due to the expense. Any home remedies or over the counter cures? Thanks for answering. I will use a brace too,but is there something else I can take?

She limps from time to time, and she takes medication for her Arthritis. Right now she is having her leg iced, but I was wondering if there is anything else I can do to make things easier on her. She’s rather bored lately, although she is 7 years old, she loved to play ball. Now, we don’t like to let her run much because of her pain.

What are things I can do to play with her, without causing more pain on her leg? What are additional methods to lessen her pain?

Thank you!

My mom has joint pain, but she is also on COUMADIN (anticoagulant). The problem is that every time she finds medication that helps the pain subside, the doctors tell her to stop using it? They keep telling her to stick to Tylenol, but it does nothing for the joint pain.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

In pain

I buy my Rottweilers arthritis medication on Ebay, but we had to stop giving it to her because it was making her stomach upset. I don’t remember what it was called, it was some brown liquid.

I need to start giving her some new medicine because Asprin isn’t working for her.

What are some HIGHLY recommended non Rx medications I can look into buying for my Rottweiler?

Im 16, female. I was recently diagnosed with arthritis in my hands/fingers. Until my medication arrives, is there any helpful tips I can use to ease the pain? Its really sharp and sometimes I can’t even hold objects. Anything like heat, or massage tips I can do myself during school? Please nothing that involves medicine, since I have some one the way, thanks a million!

My grandmother has arthritis in her hands and she takes medication, but it only helps to a certain extent.

I was wondering if there were any supplements or natural treatments that may help her?

I have a 9 year old Rottweiler (named Belle) who is having some trouble with arthritis. She is becoming more stiff as the nights get colder, I’m doing what I can for her. I let her sleep on my bed, and on the couch when she’s in the living room. I am also giving her Bayer Asprin (I asked my vet about the appropriate dose), but she is still limping a bit through out the day. Is there anything else I can do the ease her arhritis pain without having to put her on a perscription medication?

I’m considering taking Accutane for my acne and the thing I am most concerned about is the joint pains. I have no problem if when I stop the medication they will go away, but I had some people tell me that they now have bad shoulders or knees…um, can you please tell me your experience?

Hi all, I need some advice…

My mum is 60 and had undergone a heart bypass surgery few years back and still taking medication for that. But now she had a serious knee joint pain. I’m planning to buy her some pills from local pharmacy.

Any advice what to take @ to avoid?

Will there be any side effects combining joint pain pills with other medication?

My mom has really bad arthritis in her legs and is making her life miserable. Does anyone know of any kind of medication, natural remedies or exercises that could help?

My 10 year old Rottweiler, Belle has arthritis that is getting pretty bad.

I don’t want her on Rx medication because I’ve heard it can damage her liver, and other internal organs.

What are some of the best non prescription medications I can give try for her?
I already give her asprin, but it doesn’t help her anymore.

I’ve recently been diagnosed with lyme disease, and it’s been pretty brutal. I’ve been given antibiotics to handle the infection itself, but my insurance won’t cover medication to deal with the arthritis that’s developed as a symptom. It hurts too much to walk, sit up straight, move my left arm or even turn my neck. Does anyone here have suggestions for dealing with nasty joint pain like this? I’m only 18 and start school soon.
