I’ve been getting treatment for a disc herniation at L5-S1 for a year now. I’ve been through physical therapy, had three epidural steroid injections, been to a neurosurgeon, etc. I went to my pain management center yesterday for a follow up. I only saw the PA and not the doctor. She made me put my right ankle on my left leg and she pushed down on my right leg. It hurt really bad. Now she is saying that it is my SI joint and not my back. I’ve had lower back pain in the same spot with pain radiating down the back of my right leg. Now they want to do another injection but for the SI joint. Should I get it done? Will it help?
I don’t know what to believe now. Should I find another doctor?

I feel acute pain when I straighten my left leg in an effort to stand, after sitting. I’m Ok in the morning, climbing stairs, walking etc. The pain is located on the inside part of the leg, at knee level. Joint pain, maybe? Nothing is swollen.
It takes maybe a minute before the pain leaves and I can stand up and walk. If I walk too much I , the condition becomes worse but not while I’m walking. It’s only the next time I straighten my leg after sitting that the pain is worse than if I hadn’t walked too much.

I have pain in inside front of my lower left leg just below my knee and it is not shin splints. The pain is there when my lower leg is move inward like kicking a soccer ball. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I can barely walk because of knee joint pain in my left leg; will putting a lemon on it help?
I was stung several times about 2 months ago, and developed minor joint pain about 2 weeks later. The pain has intensified over time, and has become more constant.
I would estimate that I was stung between 20 and 30 times. Most were in my calves and ancles.
Although several sources claim that yellow jackets do not leave a stinger, I know for a fact that these were yellow jackets, and I had six stingers left inside. Two in my right leg, and one each in my left leg, each arm, and left side.
The joint pain was in my knees, hips, shoulders, and elbows. My knees and hips are ok now, but my shoulders and especially my elbows have continued to worsen.
Any suggestions?
