I think its associated with my feet being cold but I tried looking online to see if they are related but I haven’t found anything. The pain is just an aching feeling. Any ideas?

What would be the cause of extreme hand pain in a teenage male who has had a history of sore, aching and painful joints?

The pain was enough to redden the person’s face.

And what can help ease the pain? Would hot compresses etc help? If so what other remedies like these can be suggested?

Thank you.
Thanks, but there is no damage to the bone.

No fractures, no breaks, nothing.

Just severe joint pain over a prolonged period of time with definite "peaks", this being one.

The person also has knee pain in both knees which has been described as severe as well.

I have been having knee pain for nearly two months now, but recently it has gotten worse, so I did some research on the internet. I think I have patellofemoral pain syndrome. Does anyone else out there know anything about this and its prognosis? Would the doctor tell me to go to physical therapy?

My symptoms:
Ache in knee after sitting with knee bent after long periods of time, pain when squatting and lunging. I can run and everything fine though?
So do I you think I have this?

My dad is getting older… and he has knee pain… too many years of running in his younger days… I suggested he get some Dr.Scholls, since the more comfy the shoes, the better they probably are on the knees… do you have bad knees? or know anyone with them… what did they use?

Can I take 100mg of ibuprofen everyday for a few months or so to help my knee pain. X-rays showed early signs of arthritis int he knees.

I believe that I have developed another stress fracture in the past six weeks, even with my rather small amount of running. I know how to heal it, but I want to know how to prevent another.

I’m falling apart at the seams, but I’m not going to stop & stiffen up.

Changes to diet? Vitamins? Exercises?

This is for serious replies only.
My mother is currently 67, and has horrible knee pain. It’s in both knees. She never injured her knee, and she obviously can’t run in her elderly state.

Is there any suggestions as to what my mother can do for help?
Thank you in advance.

Its like a sensitive knee pain right on the kneecap ?

I’ve recently begun doing the P90x, and my knees have been pretty sore after the Plyometric workouts. I worked out my legs prior to P90x and I used to run, but never had an issue with knee pain before. Is that common for people who have never done Plyometrics before? Would icing it and some form of anti-inflamatory be the best solution here?

I’m taking a jogging course in college and I am required to run a certain number of miles during the course of the semester. Although I already exercised regularly, I am jogging much more now than before (I used to mainly use an exercise machine bike.) I’ve discovered that I often get knee pain in the middle of my run that sometimes persists when I’m not running throughout the day. Yesterday I noticed that I seem to be automatically tensing up my knees as I run. I wonder if this could be the problem. What can I do? I want to keep running… but my knee problems are painful and sometimes even force me to take a short break early

I blew out my knee snowboarding and was wondering how i can releive my knee pain when playing sports and lifting wieghts and in every day life. I have a 7 year old miniature horse that has been suddenly showing signs of knee pain but without swelling or heat. He has not been driven or exercised in quite awhile so the injury was not caused by that.
He lays down alot and stands with that leg stiff out in front of him.
The first thing I did is called the farrier to check for founder. He said he didn’t have any signs of it and thought it was his knee. So after total rest and bute he is still having problems
Any ideas?

For the past week or so I have been having some knee pain in the back of my knee. It only hurts after I have had my knee bent for a long time, like when I am sitting down, and either get up to walk or try to straighten my leg. It is a sharp shooting pain. Usually the pain goes away after I walk for a little bit or keep my leg straight. Is this something I should be worried about?

Who can evaluate my running form and help me with my knee pain? Also, if I am wearing the correct running shoes. I have tried the running specialty stores and it worked out well, still having knee pain, would like a doctor to have a look. thanks

15/F I play tennis and it causes knee pain. What can I take to strengthen my knee joint so it won’t hurt as much? Or what can I take to alleviate the pain? Thanks!

I lost a lot of weight and, to do so, I changed from regular soda (drank very little of it) to diet soda (mostly diet Coke – drinking almost every day – sometimes two glasses a day). I had no back pain, knee pain, back popping sounds before I lost weight. I though I would be healthier (lost about 50 lbs) but now I am in so much pain – espcially on the left side of my back – area of my ribs. I can even seem to "push" the rib cage forward and it pops and feels better for a while. I also feel better standing up than sitting, or laying down.

Someone has suggested I could have an allergy that is causing severe arthritis (I am over 50 yrs old).

Any help at all would be appreciated – I have gone to more than one doctor and they can’t seem to find anything difinitive. I have done physical therapy and continue to walk as often as possible.

Thanks for any help – I am living with it – but I sure would like to spend a few days pain free. Any ideas?

I think that this may be a way to permanently solve my knee pain.
Also, I know what is most likely causing my knee pain. It is probably my weight. I weigh somewhere between 310 and 320 and am 6′1". I am 22 years old.
