Hi, I’m 18 years old, but ever since little I experience knee and ankle pain after walking/standing for too long (i.e shopping for a day). It feels like my leg is being pulled apart right at the joints. After awhile my entire leg is numb and in pain, and of course most painful at the joints. This would last the entire night, but next morning I would wake up fine. Does anyone has an explanation for this?
Thank You

I read that you can give a dog aspirin (not tylenol) for arthiritis?

what else can be given to them for their joints and arthritis? That does not cost a bunch of money?

I can remember these pains starting from my early teens.
I don’t think it’s due to my use of the joints because the problem is the same as my activity level changes.

Every now and then, (especially when i’m sitting on the floor or a bed) when I move my leg I feel like my joint is about to pop out (pain is usually on the inside of hip)
There is a sudden pain and it’s very intense (i usually shout out loud and stop moving)
I’m wondering if it’s the normal feeling that people get just before a joint cracks? When I get those feelings in my fingers I can’t stand it and won’t let the joint crack because I find it painful (and gross)

This is pretty different but I wonder if i’m over-reacting to this hip joint pain or if there is some condition which would make the bones slide out of place? I’m also wondering if I continued moving would something bad happen? It feels incredibly sore, I don’t think I could continue moving when it happened. It really does feel like it’s about to disloc

I have recently noticed that all five tattoed locations on my body are in proximity to the joints in which i have the most paion.

My dog is getting older and I want to make sure that he stays in happy healthy condition. I want to make sure that his joints stay in good shape too. All around I just want to take care of him the right way. Is there any special food or exercise that would help him stay healthy? If it helps he is a Golden Retriever and hes 8 yrs. old. I am really looking for help!

Thank You!

i heard smoking weed with ur dog, helps with him relax, and takes pain away from his joints or helps with arthritis?

is this true?

and will it make my dog freak out or anything?

A podiatrist told me, after X-Rays were taken, that I had no cartilage left in the joints of my big toes, but offered no solution. There is a surgery that could be performed, with no promises, and it would not be covered by health insurance (of course!).

Hello all,

On wednesday at school we did some fitness training (ergos, weights…), and we did a station session where we spend 3 minutes at one going 100%, and then to the next one.
On Thursday I was ok however, but then Friday came and my muscles started to ache, aswell as my joints. It is NOT my legs, just my arms…

They are not hurting so much that I can barely pick things up, but still…

Please help, is this bad? sign of an injury?

I’m 14 years old, and whenever I do squats,or any other anything else that involves the joints, it starts hurting. What can I do now about, is there some natural remedies for this?
P.S. I used to dance, and I had to fall to my knees as part of the dance. Could this be the reason?

My job requires me to walk in excess of 12 miles a day, and my joints are stiff and sore. I need to take some kind of joint-health supplement to help. I ‘ve been doing my research, but am stuck between Glucosamine Chondritin and SAM-e.

Thanks for you input.

For the past 5-6 weeks my joints have been very achey (fingers/hands, wrists, shoulders, upper vertebrae, tailbone area, knees, & ankles). Pretty much, everything hurts and I am feeling kind of fatigued, but have also been working a lot. IThe pain is not such excrutiating pain (probably about a 5-6 on a scale of 1-10 depending upon the day), but more off a dull pain or extreme discomfort. I often feel stiff, expecially after waking up or sitting for extended periods and having trouble getting comfortable. After sitting for extended periods it is hard for me to straighten my body right away. It seems to vary in intensity, but a lot of times my hands hurt most. I am a 26 year old slightly overweight (about 15-20 lbs) female who has never had any severe medical problems. Do you think that this is something that I should go to the doctor for, or are there any otc remedies that you know of? Have you ever experienced anything of the sort. Is there a "diagnosis?"

The last few days by joints seem to be aching. Could lack of fluids be the cause of this???????????

I’m on week 3 now and my joints are killing especially the wrists and hands I can’t take several months of having 85 year old hands what can i do besides pop pills for the pain?
I don’t believe it’s fibro. my kids had fifht disease and I caught it from them except I have joint pain and I’ve read it can last several months.

Can I give a older dog cherries? She has been having a hard time moving around and I wanted to put something in her diet that might help with that. I know I take a cherry extract for my joints would it work the same for a dog? OR What would? Thank you!

I have been having severe joint pain for a few weeks now that seems to affect different joints on different days. it affects my elbow, hips, knees, and ankles, i have no other symptoms accept for fatigue. i have seen my family doctor and awaiting test results any ideas what this could be?

It’s really humid, I over did it at work today and my fibromyalgia is playing up badly. I felt OK and then in the space of 15 minutes I got so stiff and sore that I can now barely move.

I’ve taken magnesium before for cramps and it seemed to help but this pain seems to be from my joints…will it help with this or not?

Any other ideas appreciated

As soon as I have a beer my joints and sometimes muscles start to ache. It’s even worse the next day.

it started happening last night…i did a bit of drinking..just got a tad faded..but when i was about to crash (3-4am) my joints were hurting really bad…when i was laying down it almost brought me to tears…but i woke up hours later..no pain…and now im starting to feel it again in my right elbow…any ideas, remedies, thoughts?

No history of injury to any of these joints. The pain is in both ankles and knees. X-rays reveal nothing wrong structurally.
Have pretty good running shoes as well as a brand new pair of Puma spikes for the 100, 200 and 400. I’m sort of doubting the shoes thing, BUT flip-flops are worn that majority of the time.

I was told that congroitin has not been tested very long to know the long term effects so I just bought the glucosimine alone. Will that and calcium supplements help with joints aches/health ? The spelling may be wrong hopefully you know what I mean.
has not been*****

We’re in the deep freeze here on the east coast, and my joints are so stiff and swollen. I can’t even think about getting started until I soak in a really hot tub just to get moving. Most stuff I read about this says there are no real facts to support the weather/arthritis connection, so I thought I’d take it to you guys.
Oh, and I have Rheumatoid Arthritis.

I have a project on Joints for my health class, and if anyone knew any disorders that would really help me out! Thanks.

Is it normal to have arthritis or your bones hurt at the age of 25? Some of my joints have been really hurting ….such as my fingers. They really hurt in the cold or when for instance the next day after building a dog house….I also wake in the morning sometimes and they just hurt from my hand being in one state for so long….is this normal for a 25 year old?

I do a lot of exercise every day, and I’ve noticed lately that I’m not able to do as much as usual due to pain in my knees and ankles mostly. I know its not from lack of stretching, as its not a muscular pain but more the actual joints. By the way, I’m only 22. I really need to keep up my fitness routine, so any advice would be great.
Oh and the type of exercise I’m doing is mostly cardio, but also some weights as well

I have been feeling like my joints are burning and generally weak. What could this be. I am a 28 year old male in good health?
