I can’t really run because of my arthritis so running is out of the question. It needs to be something that is low impact on my joints but can help me loose weight. I want to loose 30 pounds before the beginning of high school on september 7th. Thanks for the help!

Hi! I had a really bad case of tonsillitis/cold that lasted a fortnight. just when its getting better i have now come down with weak joints that are so painful when i try to move or get up. pain is only really bad when i put my weight on them (eg- knees when i get out of a chair). it is so bad though i have to psych myself up to move! no headache or fever, so its not the flu. any ideas would be appreciated.

I’m 26 years old and haven’t lifted heavy for 3 years. I started lifting when I was 14 and at 20 began to do more cardio and lighter weights (reps of 12 to 14). between 20 and 23 I shuffled around from light to heavy with cardio. 23 to 26 I did more cardio and liftid light. Now it’s been 2 months since I started lifting heavy (8 to 10 reps) split routine and my joints have been aching. Sometimes it’s my elbows then my knees. Sometimes my lower and mid back start hurting and feel heavy at times. I feel like I’m too young to experience this but I have been lifting weights for a while and also worked alot of physically demanding jobs. I do sleep my 8 hours a night, take my supplements, and eat properly. Am I doing something wrong?

Every so often, the joints in my foot will start to ache, and it’ll radiate throughout all of the joints up to my hip. It feels like I need to stretch my leg out, but that usually just makes it worse. It’s also very stiff and cracks a lot. It’s never happened in both legs at the same time, and it’s more often in my left. Usually applying pressure with an ace bandage helps, but lately, not so much. It comes completely randomly. I’m an otherwise healthy 17 year old girl. Has anyone ever had a problem like this? Thanks so much for any help! :)

I have had pain in the middle of my back for almost 3 months and it seems to incress with a lot of movement. I also have pain in my right leg and have my knee give out on me seval times. my joints though out my entire body hurt a lot I feel sick and do not have much of an appitite but eat as much as I can for energy I cheked for a feavor but do not have one. I do not no if it is form working my slef so hard are if I have something worrng form the way I use to diet and drank in the past I am also told I move slow like an old persone but am only in my 20’s and am in the normal wight zone at 5′3” and 125-130. I fill so great mentaly if only I could feel that way physicale.

Can someone please tell me if this is a problem, or if I am being a hypochondriac?

For 4 years, I have been getting joint pain in my fingers, wrists, and elbows, which I can not explain.

I did not tell my doctor, but I just got some unrelated blood tests back, and my white blood cell count was flagged because it was elevated. I don’t know if it’s very high, though………it said that my monocytes were at 17, and that the normal range was 4-13.

I thought nothing of that, but then yesterday another doctor told me my lymph nodes were swollen.

If it matters, I also have double joints all over my body. I am only 28, but I am starting to worry that I’ve developed arthritis. Am I being crazy?

i’m just a teen, and i just relalize i bought a box of those powder water flavoring stuff for joint support. i have no problem with joints, but i bought it cause i read fruit punch on it. the brand is active lifestyle and i am not in a diet what so ever. is it still okay to drink in general?

Hi, I’m 18 years old, but ever since little I experience knee and ankle pain after walking/standing for too long (i.e shopping for a day). It feels like my leg is being pulled apart right at the joints. After awhile my entire leg is numb and in pain, and of course most painful at the joints. This would last the entire night, but next morning I would wake up fine. Does anyone has an explanation for this?
Thank You

I read that you can give a dog aspirin (not tylenol) for arthiritis?

what else can be given to them for their joints and arthritis? That does not cost a bunch of money?

I can remember these pains starting from my early teens.
I don’t think it’s due to my use of the joints because the problem is the same as my activity level changes.

Every now and then, (especially when i’m sitting on the floor or a bed) when I move my leg I feel like my joint is about to pop out (pain is usually on the inside of hip)
There is a sudden pain and it’s very intense (i usually shout out loud and stop moving)
I’m wondering if it’s the normal feeling that people get just before a joint cracks? When I get those feelings in my fingers I can’t stand it and won’t let the joint crack because I find it painful (and gross)

This is pretty different but I wonder if i’m over-reacting to this hip joint pain or if there is some condition which would make the bones slide out of place? I’m also wondering if I continued moving would something bad happen? It feels incredibly sore, I don’t think I could continue moving when it happened. It really does feel like it’s about to disloc

I have recently noticed that all five tattoed locations on my body are in proximity to the joints in which i have the most paion.

My dog is getting older and I want to make sure that he stays in happy healthy condition. I want to make sure that his joints stay in good shape too. All around I just want to take care of him the right way. Is there any special food or exercise that would help him stay healthy? If it helps he is a Golden Retriever and hes 8 yrs. old. I am really looking for help!

Thank You!

i heard smoking weed with ur dog, helps with him relax, and takes pain away from his joints or helps with arthritis?

is this true?

A podiatrist told me, after X-Rays were taken, that I had no cartilage left in the joints of my big toes, but offered no solution. There is a surgery that could be performed, with no promises, and it would not be covered by health insurance (of course!).

Hello all,

On wednesday at school we did some fitness training (ergos, weights…), and we did a station session where we spend 3 minutes at one going 100%, and then to the next one.
On Thursday I was ok however, but then Friday came and my muscles started to ache, aswell as my joints. It is NOT my legs, just my arms…

They are not hurting so much that I can barely pick things up, but still…

Please help, is this bad? sign of an injury?

I’m 14 years old, and whenever I do squats,or any other anything else that involves the joints, it starts hurting. What can I do now about, is there some natural remedies for this?
P.S. I used to dance, and I had to fall to my knees as part of the dance. Could this be the reason?

My job requires me to walk in excess of 12 miles a day, and my joints are stiff and sore. I need to take some kind of joint-health supplement to help. I ‘ve been doing my research, but am stuck between Glucosamine Chondritin and SAM-e.

Thanks for you input.

For the past 5-6 weeks my joints have been very achey (fingers/hands, wrists, shoulders, upper vertebrae, tailbone area, knees, & ankles). Pretty much, everything hurts and I am feeling kind of fatigued, but have also been working a lot. IThe pain is not such excrutiating pain (probably about a 5-6 on a scale of 1-10 depending upon the day), but more off a dull pain or extreme discomfort. I often feel stiff, expecially after waking up or sitting for extended periods and having trouble getting comfortable. After sitting for extended periods it is hard for me to straighten my body right away. It seems to vary in intensity, but a lot of times my hands hurt most. I am a 26 year old slightly overweight (about 15-20 lbs) female who has never had any severe medical problems. Do you think that this is something that I should go to the doctor for, or are there any otc remedies that you know of? Have you ever experienced anything of the sort. Is there a "diagnosis?"

The last few days by joints seem to be aching. Could lack of fluids be the cause of this???????????

I’m on week 3 now and my joints are killing especially the wrists and hands I can’t take several months of having 85 year old hands what can i do besides pop pills for the pain?
I don’t believe it’s fibro. my kids had fifht disease and I caught it from them except I have joint pain and I’ve read it can last several months.

Can I give a older dog cherries? She has been having a hard time moving around and I wanted to put something in her diet that might help with that. I know I take a cherry extract for my joints would it work the same for a dog? OR What would? Thank you!

I have been having severe joint pain for a few weeks now that seems to affect different joints on different days. it affects my elbow, hips, knees, and ankles, i have no other symptoms accept for fatigue. i have seen my family doctor and awaiting test results any ideas what this could be?

It’s really humid, I over did it at work today and my fibromyalgia is playing up badly. I felt OK and then in the space of 15 minutes I got so stiff and sore that I can now barely move.

I’ve taken magnesium before for cramps and it seemed to help but this pain seems to be from my joints…will it help with this or not?

Any other ideas appreciated
