If you were to get a procedure done that you didn’t want your parents/husband/wife to find out about, would it show up on their health insurance bill, if you have a joint plan?
I am in need of health insurance, can I still joint the army reserves at my age? I would also feel good about supporting the troops.
A podiatrist told me, after X-Rays were taken, that I had no cartilage left in the joints of my big toes, but offered no solution. There is a surgery that could be performed, with no promises, and it would not be covered by health insurance (of course!).
Well I’ve been to manydifferent websites and I am certain I’ve fractured the joint or a bone in my finger. Its getting very swollen, It hurts very badly, I’m having difficulty moving it (I normally type with just my 2 index fingers but I am very fast), and the skin on the palm side where the joint resides is purple. Now the pain is traveling down to my palm. I feel I really need to see the doctor, but my mom won’t take me because last time I broke my arm and ended up needing a 5 thousand dollar surgery and the insurance company did not pay for most of it. She toldm e she’d have to make an appointment because she doesn’t want ot go to the E.R. and shes going to be busy all of this week. I need to take care of my figner because I know what happens if you don’t, so how can i take care of it without visiting a doctor?
Now i’m loosing feeling in the other fingers
She won’t take me because shes done this to her finger before and it healed ok but I’m just super worried.. plus tomorrow I have to pick up school books, and I don’t start school for 10 days, and on Tuseday shes getting a tooth implant so she can’t drive or anything.
Hi Guys
Hi Guys
I am new in USA. my wife has Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and is taking medication prescribed when we were in our home country.
1. my first question is How much is the cost of RA treatment in USA? i mean an estimated monthly cost..
2. and what specific coverages i will have to look for in her case if i go for buying an insurance (considering that RA is a chronic disease and requires taking medicines continuously for several years)
kindly help us out !
I’m 23 and I dont have health insurance now. I have random joint pain all over my body. It keeps me awake at night and I do not know what the cause is. I have this since I was a little kid. I went to the doctor they tested for RA, but they came up with nth. I’ve been tested for Lyme diseases too. Came up with nth. I really want to know how can I get rid of this illness its bothering me so much. Anything is appreciated.
Hilary Clinton and John Edwards have both announced health care plans recently. Both are not "universal," in the sense that everyone is covered under the government’s plan. Rather, the plans force people to buy insurance. These people will then receive some kind of tax credit or subsidy. In Clinton’s plan there is a provision to remove a companies right to deny coverage of pre-existing or genetically-induced conditions.
Why create a system with this many holes? This forces companies to serve people with existing conditions: it does not ban them from charging rediculous rates. If anything, this will just cripple Americans more as their wallets are robbed by a joint Clinton-Insurance Company taskforce.
I support Universal Care. But I do not support moving to a system that just cripples Americans more. Why force people to be broke? This, I think, is a compromised solution. "Lets move from bad to worse!"
Obama’s plan also calls for universal coverage, but not forced adoption.
homosexual couples are unable to get joint health insurance…
please explain?? I need this for an essay i am writing on gay rights and this its like a benefit that homosexual couples do not recieve…please be detailed, but not too detailed that i cant understand it! ^^"
I keep my children more than my ex, but her husband carries all health insurance. makes much more, i rent, they just sold there very nice home for a very very very nice 3 level 5 bed room home 450,000,000! I spend more time with children! but they live in a much better school district and provide all the health insurance. My grils are 8 and 9 so they no longer need child care plus ex has never worked!
I currently have joint legal custody of my 4 children with my ex-wife. Neither of us pay child support due to the alike incomes. When we were married we got state help. (ex. food stamps, insurance) since we have been divorced i now live with my girlfriend and our 4 month old baby. We cannot get state help with childcare because for a family of 3 i make too much and she claims all 4 to the state. I have asked her if she would take 2 of the children off of the state so i can claim them and get alittle more help getting back on my feet. she will not do this. so i guess the question i am asking is, should she have to pay for half of the childcare costs when i have them?
I’ve recently been diagnosed with lyme disease, and it’s been pretty brutal. I’ve been given antibiotics to handle the infection itself, but my insurance won’t cover medication to deal with the arthritis that’s developed as a symptom. It hurts too much to walk, sit up straight, move my left arm or even turn my neck. Does anyone here have suggestions for dealing with nasty joint pain like this? I’m only 18 and start school soon.
My boyfriend and I are thinking about getting health insurance. We just want to know do we have to be married to have joint health-care?
