Me and my dad are just alike and neither one of us has ever had any medical problems. My dad does have really bad arthritis though now that he’s in his 50’s. Almost to the point where it’s crippling. I just turned 25. What are some things I could start doing to prevent getting this condition as well?
I have wanted to become one almost all my life but i have had arthritis since I was 9. So can I become one even though i have arthritis.
My dad says that it is not possible.
My dad is getting older… and he has knee pain… too many years of running in his younger days… I suggested he get some Dr.Scholls, since the more comfy the shoes, the better they probably are on the knees… do you have bad knees? or know anyone with them… what did they use?
My dad has all these symptoms from working everyday, I really want to help him but I don’t know how! I have considered a chiropractor or a heat pad. What do you suggest? He has alot of neck pains and he limps sometimes so i think something’s wrong with his leg or foot. HELP!
I’m 16 and sadly, I’ve been cracking my fingers for about 5 years. I’ve tried to stop many times but it feels extremely uncomfortable if I avoid cracking them when I feel like I need to.
Lately when I’m on the computer, I get a dull pain in my fingers, through the side of my wrist and sometimes up to my elbow. I spend alot of time on the computer, I do all my school work on here and I plan on getting a career in it so controlling the pain is crucial.
I haven’t been to the doctor for it yet but I’d just like peoples opinions first, does anyone think this could be arthritis?
My dad has arthritis in his fingers and knees (I get a pain he’s to me in my knees on rare odescribed ccasion) but he’s never needed to crack his fingers as much as I do.

I have labradors, and i was wondering, should i start them on a joint supplement now?
As you may know, Labs are prone to hip dysplasia, and i want to prevent that with my dog.
so, do you think i should start my dogs on joint and hip supplements now?
btw; my labs are from the ages 8 months, to 4 years.
and i have 3
Ok, so my dad also owns a lab, and he gives him a fish oil tablet everyday, he just buys the regular ones from walmart, i think they are naturemade brand
would that be the kind i would get if i wanted to start my labs on those?
just the regular human kind?
My Dad is settled in USA, and he suffers from Rheumatoid Arthritis. Can anyone suggest me a job which he can take up, which he can do, without too much of physical work? He is well educated and was a teacher in India, but he is waiting for his certificates to get to USA, to apply for teaching positions. In the mean time, I would like to suggest him a job, which would not take too much of physical troubles, at the same time which does not need much education. He does not mind working for the minimum salary in USA. Please help me.
I usually run 3-6 miles a day 3-4 days a week. My dad recently emailed me an article that said people who have had knee problems (i.e. surgery) should not run and find other forms of exercise because it greatly increased the chance of future problems. I am 30 years old and had ACL surgery about 5 years ago (with no problems since). I love to run – its my way of keeping myself sane! Are there any good supplements for joint health. Any certain exercises to stregthen knees? I plan to keep running but I want to be able to walk when I’m 60! Thanks for any advice!
First – to Carolina Sunshine – 30 is too old for running!?! I guess I’ll just go ahead and take up crossword puzzles or knitting!!! How old are you? – just kidding. Second – I know walking would be better but it’s just too boring and I don’t feel like I get a good workout. 3rd – thanks for all the advice, I will look at the supplements you guys named today!
My husbands niece just found out she has Rheumatoid Arthritis & my husbands dad has it also. My father-in-law just told me his dad had some form of Arthritis. When should I be concerned if my son has it? When can they start tests to see if has it? Thanks in advance for your answers!
My ex-husband & I have joint custody, although my son lives w/me, he only goes with his dad twice a wk. I do not receive child support, but my ex pays for our son’s school (pre-K).
Now, when filing our taxes, may I be able to claim our son as my dependant, and then have my ex file for the child care expenses?
My dad has this type of arthritis and his legs always hurt really bad. He is only 54 years old and he can barely walk around. What are some things that he can try to ease the pain so that he can get around better. He is still kind of young.
