the past week and a half or so i’ve been waking up around the early hours of the morning with aching knees and some pain in my legs. It goes away if I change positions, but this has never happened to me before. Im 20, why would I all of a sudden have aching joints and such? What can I do about this…?

If wanted to pay for a minor stem cell treatment, i.e. renew my aching joints (tendonitis), how much would it cost per joint?

I’m not sure what’s going on with the research (damn you people who would rather live in the dark ages…) but how much longer until we start seeing more options for stem cell treatments?

I’m more curious about muscle products.. But I also have aching joints and if there is anything I can add to a bath to help relieve or relax the pain I am willing to try it.

Thank you.

I am a high school freshman trying cross-country for the first time. Out of all the practices we’ve had so far, my legs and joints always have this sore feeling when I run, even at the beginning, but I don’t know why. I can still run, but that achy feeling makes it difficult. What are some ways to prevent aching joints and have a good, strong run?

My mom has been sick for over the last three days of a rash all over her body, aching joints(shoulder, knees, legs, wrists, etc), and fever. We took her to ER and they did Catscan and tested her for meningitis and all tests came back negative. My mom stated that she went over to her rental property to clean it out of which the renter had a dog she stated they she didn’t notice the rash until a day later. Her legs and knees aches so bad that it is hard for her to walk and the tip of her fingers were somewhat blue??? The doctors have no idea what’s going on so they want to recommend her to a vascular doctor. If anyone are familiar with these symptoms please help!

my doctor said months ago , its probably due to my inactivity for a long time, because i suffer borderline personality disorder , ptsd symptoms , i have agoraphobia to.

im overweight, out of shape and have been inactive for many years now..
im waiting for an operation on my left ankle because i torn the ankle ligaments a year ago – so i have to be careful how i walk..

for a long time now ive had the symptom, of joints , limbs that ache against minimal activity , ie – like using my arm to type on the keyboard , my shoulder joints aches badly as my arm is extended, working..
in general also, my joints easily move out of place, out of alignment , and are elasticy, im hyper jointed or something, the doctor said..

if i was to squeeze my wrist joint slightly, that conects my hand to my arm, it would easily move out of place…

ive recentley had blood test done at my gps surgery – thyroid , kidney, glucose – they were all in the normal range..

my gp last ttime was aloof with me and didnt seem to concerned with the symptom , saying it was probably my inactivity and being overweight that caused it..

in general i get bad depressions with the bpd, where i have no energy and feel to lethargic to do anything , even though ive not been officially diagnosed with depression..

ive had the aching joints and joints easily moving out of place for many, many years now…..i cant recall when it started.

im 31 now.
also i have bad anxiety and my thoughts race everyday, hyper tense , and are regularly stressed .

so im not sure if its this that causes the aching , weak, tired joints that easily move out of place ?

maybe ?

I’m 7 weeks pregnant with my second child and my entire body just aches! Especially my joints, my hips, knees, shoulders, and elbows are throbbing. I remember from my reading during my last pregnancy that a hormone released during pregnancy can cause sensitivity in your joints, but I didn’t experience it until the end of the pregnancy. Does this sound normal? I’m also very tired, but have been contributing that to my 6 year old step-daughter’s early mornings since school has started, my 4 month old daughter’s new schedule, and me going back to school and work.

The main question is this: Is it normal to have aching joints this early in pregnancy?

Does anyone know why I get aching joints? My mother thinks its cuz I’m too skinny, which I think is ridiculous, my brother thinks it’s cuz I dont drink milk, but I dont know what to believe and I dont really wanna go to the doctor. Like everyday I have joint pain. It’s been like this for months. Any ideas?? I dont know if this helps but I’m 19.

i am a 54 year old woman who was relatively fit and healthy (i trekked the hills of peru last year to raise money for breakthrough breastcancer) and was stuck down 6 months ago with menigoccocal septicaemia was in a coma for 19 days on full life support and spent a further 5 weeks in hospital i am doing reasonably well – i have got a few problems but try to remain optimistic but struggle in the main with aching joints and am at present taking 600mg of ibrufen to cope with the distress of my body hurting – does anyone know exactly why the septiceamia does this and any ideas of using a kinder anti-inflamatory?

After a week of scuba diving in the Bahamas, my friend boards an airplane back to school. During his flight home, he developes aching joints, nausea, and dyspnea, which resolve upon landing. During the flight, the cabin pressure was equivalent to an altitude of 800 feet. Why did he have these problems?
Explain his problems.
There’s a typo. The cabin pressure was equivalent to an altitude of 8000 feet. Not 800.

My mother says she always knows when rain is coming because her arthritic joints ache badly. I also have arthritis and don’t have this problem,The joints ache at different times depending on what I’ve been doing, not what’s happening with the weather. And I’m middle-aged, about the same age my mum was when her arthritis started flaring up.

Is the connection between aching joints and rain just an old wives tale, or is there some truth to it?
