I’m taking a jogging course in college and I am required to run a certain number of miles during the course of the semester. Although I already exercised regularly, I am jogging much more now than before (I used to mainly use an exercise machine bike.) I’ve discovered that I often get knee pain in the middle of my run that sometimes persists when I’m not running throughout the day. Yesterday I noticed that I seem to be automatically tensing up my knees as I run. I wonder if this could be the problem. What can I do? I want to keep running… but my knee problems are painful and sometimes even force me to take a short break early
