When I try to expand the penis the skin joint beneath the penis glans stretches a lot and gives a bit pain; so I suddently stops stretching the penis too much. Do I need to undergone Circumcision? I’ve been getting treatment for a disc herniation at L5-S1 for a year now. I’ve been through physical therapy, had three epidural steroid injections, been to a neurosurgeon, etc. I went to my pain management center yesterday for a follow up. I only saw the PA and not the doctor. She made me put my right ankle on my left leg and she pushed down on my right leg. It hurt really bad. Now she is saying that it is my SI joint and not my back. I’ve had lower back pain in the same spot with pain radiating down the back of my right leg. Now they want to do another injection but for the SI joint. Should I get it done? Will it help?

Recently, I had an X ray of my heels taken for a painful condition. It showed a spur and also arthritic changes in the ankle joint. I have been advised to take ultrasound treatment for the Plantar Fascitis. Both the doctor and physiotherapist feel that I should take up swimming as a form of exercise to lose weight and ease the stress off the joint. But my problem is that I am a walking enthusiast and I hate getting wet. Moreover, there is no well-maintained pool in my immediate vicinity. I am also concerned about hygiene issues in over-crowded pools and the ill-effects of hyperchlorinated pool water. I do not want to end up with a new set of problems while trying to avoid the present ones.
I can comply with this advice for a while but ask me to give up walking altogether, and I might as well die. I feel miserable and discouraged.

I have an 11 year old boxer who was diagnosed with heartworms. The vet suggested we continue giving her heartguard and not do the heartworm treatment. She has a good quality of life for being an old girl, she still eats dry dog food, she doesn’t suffer from incontinence, and she sleeps on a small sofa sized dog bed. Like most boxers she does have some joint discomfort and undergoes steroid shot treatments every couple of months. Should we go to another vet to seek the heartworm treatment? Has anyone on here had to go through this before?
I always thought they couldn’t be on it they were heartworm positive either but our vet said we can. She has been on preventative since she was puppy but sometime last year we ran out and in the process of moving didn’t realize it. As soon as we did we started her back on it and just recently took her to the vet for her yearly shots and found out she was heartworm positive. It’s heartbreaking to know that just those few months without it caused to her.

My mother is about 70 years old she has got severe joint pains and vain pains both together. Doctor says that the pain subsides temporarily.She has been taken to several doctors but every body gives tem pain killers apart from regular calcium and other vitamin tablets.
