I am a divorced father trying to join the Air Force but there is a hold up because I have joint custody. I have taken care of most of the paperwork and am waiting on a date for my physical but haven’t received one yet. I haven’t received a definite that the hold up is due to custody but was told by my recruiter that it might be the issue and he has no idea on the issue. I am curious to know if anybody has had to go through this and if so what was the outcome or the solution to have the opportunity to join. Any information is appreciated. Thank you.
I feel pain in shoulder joint and crack sounds can be heard when swinging arms clockwise and anti-clockwise. I’m a pretty inactive guy and don’t move around much even at home. What’s the cause? How to treat it? Do I need more calcium (I drink enough milk daily though)?Do I need more bone lubrication and is there any food that can improve it. Or should I move my arms around more. Can’t afford surgery or stuff like that. Please help!!!!
ive been cracking my knuckles and playing dumb games like bloody knuckles, and quarters for about 5 – 10 years. ive done some really dumb things and now im getting a little worried, because i play a guitar and i want to be able to when im older. what are some ways i could prevent arthritis when im older, or at least or make it less of a problem.
I have had two knee scopes and have horrible arthritis and constant knee pain. Vicodin is the only thing that seems to work for the pain. No I am not an addict or junkie, I’m a 38 year old married mother of 3 who has a full time job outside the home who just can’t take being in constant pain anymore. Any suggestions from anyone? I am too young for a knee replacement I’m being told so……..
I am 25 and started having knee pain about 5 years ago when I went into the army. Over the next five years other joints have started hurting. Like my elbows, shoulders, and hips. My doctor did a blood test and it said negative for arthritis. Could it still be? Or what else could it be? They hurt even when I am not working out.
I can’t take any nsaids to help relieve the pain for inflamation and arthritis. Because of my medications I already take, I was trying to find a external cream that might help.
he also gets her every other weekend and we split the holidays. i just need to know if the time im at work is considered child care or is it joint custody. there is no court involvment.
i heard of a form of relief from joint pain that marathon runners and such, use to help them out. i am not sure if it is a pill, powder or liquid form and it has just came out within the past couple months. it starts with a G.
Okay – so.. typically when I ride it’s during a lesson, show, or clinic and I’m in the saddle for an hour at the very least. Lupus runs in my family and I’ve already got symptoms of it + rheumatoid arthritis. After riding for an extended period of time, I start to have knee pain – mostly in my right knee. I’ve tried jointed stirrups and ironically they caused MORE pain than they relieved. I’ve thought about trying the Bow Balance stirrups but I’m afraid it’ll be the same thing. I have "conformational issues," as my trainer likes to put it, because I’ve got a 33" inseam but I’m only 5′4". This makes it hard for me to fit really nicely in a saddle without my leg looking too long (even if my stirrups are at the right level).
I know I have a problem of turning my toes out when I jump, so could this be part of the reason for my knee pain? Could it be the fact that my legs are so long? Does anyone else have this same problem and if so – what have you done that has actually worked?
I’ve had blood tests done every year for the Lupus. With the test – they’re looking for I think three specific things.. if you only have two out of the three, they still name your results as "negative." My Dr. has said, "It’s just a matter of time before the test comes back positive" – I don’t really know how to interpret that.. I’m assuming that one of the things they look for is possibly age related. Who knows.. and Yes, I’ve tried ace bandages, I’ve tried a knee brace – it doesn’t help. Ibuprofin sometimes works but I’m not a huge fan over taking stuff. My massage therapist has recommend Arnica – which I’ve yet to find – but otherwise I’m not on any medications other than the occasional Flexiril after a horseshow (which is when it’s the worst).
My partner broke his ankle a number of years ago, he has just been told he has arthritis in this joint which is causing him pain. The doctor has given painkillers and said to take glucosamine, Can he do anything else ?
Drywall joint compound.
Arthritis and such runs in the family, my grandmother doesn’t even have her real hips anymore. The pains have been getting worse and it’s definitely not from a lack of movement. Does anyone know of joint meds or even doctors? Homeopathic medicine, just anything. I’m in Northern NJ.
Im going to Puerto Rico and want to bring my mom a good home remedy for arthritis that she will be thankful and happy.
I have recently been diagnosed with chronic anemia and getting ready to start an iron infusion therapy. The last week I have been experiencing sore aching muscles and joints and I was wondering if the anemia could cause this.
I have a lab that has some joint pain in his legs from time to time? i have seen some things online and on t.v. but I don’t know what actually works. I don’t have much money to waste on products that don’t work. ![]()
I love to run. Over the past few weeks, after running I get a pain on the side of my left knee. It hurts most during the motion of extending or bending the knee and in certain positions. The pain subsides after a day or two. There is no swelling. Any clues as to what the problem might be?
I always stretch before and after running and have tried running with a knee brace – neither seem to help. After the last run, I’ve decided to stop running for at least a month to let the injury heal.
My father has arthritis for 6 years, now his finger could stretch out, he can not wear clothes by himself. He also take many medicines, but it just better for few days. I want to change another way may is good for his arthritis.
An elderly woman called into our office and said they saw a very quick advertisement (possibly for a law firm) regarding calling them if you have joint pain possibly caused by an MRI. The woman said she only watches Fox and Lifetime channels, but I haven’t been able to find anything regarding this.
The arthritis is in the back and knee of a young man with degenerative disc disease. He also has ulcers in his stomach so this is something to take into account. We are interested in both over the counter and prescription drugs. Thanks.
my husband and I are currently seperated. I am wanting joint custody with primary care. our daughter is 5 years old and I believe that this would be best for her. of course, her father disagrees with me and thinks we should do joint custody 50/50. He continues to say that he is giving up all rights to his daughter if he agrees to what I am asking. He has just received a DWI and has a suspended drivers license. Will this affect the judges decision? He also is wanting to call a friend of mine to court because he thinks we have a sexual relationship. How will this affect this man? he has full custody of his children and I don’t want to cause him any problems. I am very confused and really don’t know what to do.
